The short version

OUTREP counts your reps with your camera — and the camera part happens entirely on your phone. Frames are analyzed on-device and are never uploaded, stored, or seen by us. What we do collect is what a sports league needs to run: who you are, your results, and your city. We don't run ads, we don't track you across other apps, and we don't sell your data.

What we collect

Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your email address and name. That's the whole sign-up.

Profile. Your display name, an optional profile photo, and any optional details you choose to add (such as height or weight) to shape your player card.

Fitness results.Rep counts, match results, box scores, personal records, and ghost timelines (the timing of your reps in a recorded run). This is the scoreboard — it's what makes leaderboards, seasons, and rematches work.

City-level location. If you grant location access, we read your coarse location once to place you on your city's leaderboard. City only — never your precise position, never in the background.

Things you post. Crew chat messages and anything else you write in the app.

Purchases. If you subscribe to OUTREP Pro or buy card sets, our payments partner RevenueCat sends us a record of the transaction (product, date, store). Payment details like card numbers never reach us — Apple handles those.

Push token. If you enable notifications, a device token so we can deliver battle reminders and results.

What we never collect

Your camera feed. Pose detection runs on your device. Video frames are never transmitted to our servers — only the resulting rep counts are.

Precise location. We ask the operating system for city-level accuracy and nothing finer.

Tracking. No ads, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics SDKs.

One note on live battles: your microphone audio streams in real time to your opponent during a live match (that's the trash talk). It is transmitted through our realtime infrastructure and is not recorded or stored.

How we use it

To run the league: matching you with opponents, ranking seasons, building leaderboards and feeds, syncing your record across devices, delivering notifications you asked for, reviewing reports of abusive behavior, and processing subscriptions. That's it — we use your data to operate OUTREP, not to profile you.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the product: Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (sign-in and payments), Expo (push-notification delivery), and LiveKit (realtime audio during live battles). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We don't sell personal data, and we've never been asked to — if that ever changes, this policy changes first.

Public by design: your display name, profile photo, tier, rating, and match results appear on leaderboards and feeds. Settings › Privacy lets you appear anonymized in public feeds instead.

Deleting your data

Settings › Delete Account permanently erases your account, profile, personal records, ghosts, and messages — immediately, from inside the app, no email required. Match results against other players are kept for their records but detached from your identity. Transaction records are retained as required for financial bookkeeping.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. The delete button covers most of it; for anything else, email us and we'll sort it out.

Kids

OUTREP is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child is using OUTREP, contact us and we'll remove the account.

Changes & contact

OUTREP is operated by Escondido Development LLC, a Wyoming company. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it in the app before it takes effect. Questions, requests, complaints: hello@loaf.social.
